Information for project partners

BNF offers partner organisations an opportunity for temporary collaboration with highly qualified jobseekers from various fields.

BNF participants have university qualifications (Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate levels) in a broad spectrum of academic disciplines.

A project partnership with BNF can offer the following opportunities:

  • social commitment

  • getting to know possible future employees

  • bringing cutting-edge expertise into the organisation

  • expanding the network and influence of the organisation

  • temporary collaboration with experts and minimal administrative effort

BNF projects last up to a maximum of six months and may be prematurely ended, should the participant find regular employment before the agreed time has expired.

There is no obligation to regularly employ participants after project completion. However, as experience shows: one in four participants is offered regular employment in the partner organisation.

  • Four fifths of the time spent in a BNF project should be devoted to project work,

  • one fifth is reserved for jobseeking.

  • In the case of projects in public institutions or nonprofit organisations, a further 10% of the time can be used for BNF courses and coaching.

Ordinarily, on completing the project, the participant is entitled to a letter of reference from the partner organisation.

For project partners in public institutions or nonprofit organisations there are no costs. The project is financed by the benefits received by the participant from his or her unemployment fund.

Partner organisations in the private sector are expected to contribute 25% to the benefits of the jobseeker (at least CHF 500 per month).
